It aimed at breaking the silence around menstruation and promoting menstrual hygiene among underprivileged females. The project team of SSF is actively involved in reaching out to underprivileged women and girls living in slums and rural areas, where the issue of menstrual hygiene is prevalent. The team distributes sanitary napkins to them and educates them on how to use them properly. The team also organizes awareness camps in schools, colleges, and community centers, where they conduct sessions on menstrual hygiene, the importance of using sanitary napkins, and proper disposal methods.
